Birthday Card for my Mum

Good evening everyone, first of all I would like to thank everyone who left me kind messages of support for the tests I am having done.

I was given 8th November, which is a bit earlier than they originally said, but as it is my Birthday and Silver Wedding Anniversary on 7th November, I have postponed them until 20th November.  I won't be able to eat anything after 1.00 p.m. from the day before, which meant I wouldn't be able to have a nice meal on my Birthday.

Sorry I haven't posted for a while, but I am trying to get back into it this week starting with a card I made for my Mum in September.

I have cut the owl on my cricut using Scal.  I bought the cutting file from The cutting Cafe.

Items Used:

Coloured card from stampin up
Cutting file from The Cutting Cafe
Backing papers printed from the computer
"Mum" cut on Cricut

Thanks for looking.

Week 20 Christine's Digi Showcase

Good morning  and welcome to my new followers.  When you read this post we will be in the middle of our Ofsted Inspection at school. Wish me luck, I look after the safeguarding and the attendance and if the safeguarding is not up to what it should be I think they fail you and don't carry on with the rest of the inspection!

So for this weeks card I have used Christine's mask digi. I have used black, white and red as I really like these colours together.  Hope you do too.

Why don't you pop over to Christine's blog  to see what the rest of the team have made with this lovely image.

Items used:

Chrtistine's Mask Digi image
Coloured card from Stampin Up
Ribbon from Stampin Up
Gems from stash
Sentiment created on the computer.
Sizzix die borrowed from a friend (sorry I don't know what it is called) but it is really pretty.

Thanks for looking.
